How can I limit the period of sale for a ticket type or registration type?

You can limit the period of sale for the ticket type or registration type by clicking Events to the left, Events again, on the name of the event, Edit Event, Tickets (or Registration Types, depending on the event type), Edit to the right side of the Ticket Type or Registration type that you want to change the period of sale for, Show Advanced Options and the "Set a limited period for sales" checkbox.
